While this is not ideal, we are finding online meetings to still be a vibrant face-to-face connection experience. Online NA meetings are now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, there are many phoneline meetings. We are still carrying the message of recovery and just as eager to make our message available to the still suffering addict as ever. How to find us online Most meetings are using Zoom, although NA does not endorse or have any opinion on Zoom. The meeting lists on this website provide the ID for the online meeting. For instruction on using Zoom click here Note that you can call into most of these meetings with any phone and hear the meeting. If you believe you have a drug problem and want help click on the “New to NA” tab for more information. There are currently meetings per week in the Rio Grande Region. Click on “Meetings” above in the navigation menu to find a meeting close to you. New to NA NA is a non-profit, non-professional fellowship of addicts helping addicts. It costs nothing to belong. Someone new to our fellowship may call us on our helplines (listed below), or simply attend a meeting. “Open” meetings welcome non-addicts who may attend and observe. “Closed” meetings are only for those looking at their own drug problem. Call us, e-mail anyone listed under “Contact Information” below, or just walk into a meeting. As our literature says, “We are not interested in what or how much you used or who your connections were, what you have done in the past, how much or how little you have, but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help.” For Professionals Professionals who wish to discuss a relationship of cooperation between themselves and NA in more detail can click the e-mail link under “Contact Us” above and send us an e-mail to the choice that says “Please forward to the appropriate person.” Provide contact information, and you will be contacted by our Public Relations committee, an all-volunteer group of local members whose purpose is to forge just such relationships. More information can be found on na.org Just For Today August 26, 2020 Tenth Step inventory Page 248 "We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it." Step Ten A daily Tenth Step keeps us on a sound spiritual footing. While each member asks different questions, some questions have been found to be helpful to almost everyone. Two key Tenth Step questions are, "Am I honestly in touch with myself, my actions, and my motives? And have I prayed for God's will for me and the power to carry it out?" These two questions, answered honestly, will lead us into a more thorough look at our day. When focusing on our relationships with others, we may ask, "Have I harmed anyone today, either directly or indirectly? Do I need to make amends to anyone as a result of my actions today?" We keep it simple in our inventory if we remember to ask, "Where was I wrong? How can I do it better next time?" NA members often find that their inventories include other important questions. "Was I good to myself today? Did I do something for someone else and expect nothing in return? Have I reaffirmed my faith in a loving Higher Power?" Step Ten is a maintenance step of the NA program. The Tenth Step helps us to continue living comfortably in recovery. Just for Today: I will remember to review my day. If I have harmed another, I will make amends. Eighth Tradition Narcotics Anonymous should remain forever nonprofessional, but our service center may employ special workers.
